KUDZU STAR
Contents: 60 tbl
Kudzu - Puearia lobata comes from India, China, and Japan. Traditional Chinese medicine used kudzu to suppress the effects of alcohol, for headaches, as an antiemetic (a substance that prevents vomiting), and an antipyretic (a substance that reduces fever). Nowadays, kudzu is in the centre of attention of scientists and physicians who deal with addictions to alcohol, nicotine, and other drugs. The substances responsible for the positive results of the research into the effects of kudzu are, according to the researchers, the isoflavonoid glycosides daidzin and puerarin. The research also includes other flavonoids contained in kudzu that might help women in menopause, maintain healthy blood pressure, detoxify internal organs, and support the circulatory system.
