Cholesterol is a substance of lipid origin and is contained in blood. A body is able to produce cholesterol in liver and/or consume it in food. Cholesterol is important for an organism and plays a certain role in some of its functions, it is also a part of cell membranes. It assists in hormone production and supports fat processing. But the increased level of cholesterol is dangerous. It may cause fat deposition in veins, the veins narrow and may cause cardio or cerebral malfunctions. The production of cholesterol may be influenced by heredity, age, obesity, smoking, the lack of physical activities and high consumption of animal fat. Contents of 1 capsule: Monascus purpureus (red yeast rice) 600 mg, rice powder; anticaking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. Gelatin capsule.

Precautions
